Whether you’re just starting out in agriculture or discovering a late passion for farming, we understand the challenges of building a business from the ground up - especially in the complex world of agriculture.
Find out how Future Farms Foundation can support your regenerative farming project.
If you have a project in mind and don’t own a land, scroll down below. If you already have a land, click here.
But it’s crucial not to overlook the many other aspects involved: from clearly defining your vision and selecting the right regenerative practices to crafting effective commercial strategies and more.
That’s why we’re dedicated to working with you through every stage of your regenerative agriculture journey.
Long-term low-cost regenerative leases

A partnership with Future Farms Foundation will typically begin with the development of a regenerative farming project and the search for a suitable land. Aspiring Future Farmers are invited to approach the Foundation with a specific property and project in mind.
Once your regenerative project is submitted, the Foundation’s validation committee will conduct a thorough assessment to confirm the viability of the project and its alignment with our charitable mission. Once this step is successfully completed, Future Farms Foundation will endeavour to secure sufficient funding through a targeted fundraising campaign and acquire the land to own it in perpetuity and lease it to the aspiring Future Farmers.
Incubator

One of our first priorities is to set up an incubator where the farm is already owned by Future Farms Foundation, and the focus shifts to evaluating the viability of the Future Farmer’s project before finalising the lease. This evaluation process would include access to test patches: dedicated areas on our farms where aspiring farmers can trial their activities in a supportive environment, without facing high costs.
This incubator will allow a farming business to get started over two to three years, benefiting from shared resources like land, equipment, and administrative support. It’s a valuable opportunity for future farmers to refine their business plans without undue pressure and determine if farming is the right path for them. We will keep this page updated as soon as our incubator is up and running.

Project Plan
At the end of this stage, you’ll have a clear outline of your project, identifying your goals and key objectives from financial, technical, environmental, and social perspectives.
You’ll then identify your needs and resources, choose the best structure for your farm (whether taking over an existing farm, forming a partnership, or starting a new business), and build a solid business plan. This includes identifying products and target markets, applying best practices in regenerative agriculture, determining site needs, and developing a sound financial plan and commercial strategy to achieve your goals.
Identifying your targeted land can come at any point in this process. It may inspire and guide your entire project or conclude the analysis phase.
Future Farms Foundation will help assess the feasibility of your project and connect you with a network of volunteers and partners.

Evaluation and funding
Future Farms must ensure your project meet its feasibility, environmental and societal criteria, and represent a good use of funds for the charity.
The role of our validation committee is to independently evaluate each project in order to clear them for fund raising and/or funding.
